This year’s training conference will be held at the Margaritaville Resort in South Lake Tahoe, 4130 South Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA.

 The CALEBI Board is working to put together an informative training program. The final schedule will be released once we receive confirmation from the presenters. The current schedule includes: 

• POST Update and input from the consultants 
• Pre-employment interviewing 
• Legal update regarding agencies and investigators 
• Navigating electronic software programs 
• Other topics TBD 

We are interested in case studies about “unusual” backgrounds you may have encountered or other ideas and resources you have used in your investigations. If you have such a case or investigative idea, please submit it to the board. 

Registration for the conference is now open on the website. The cost of the conference is the same as last year, $375 which includes the buffet dinner and your 2025 membership dues. (After August 15, 2025, registration will be $425)
