This year’s training conference will be held at the Margaritaville Resort in South Lake Tahoe, 4130 South Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA.  The renovation of the Lake Tahoe Resort has been completed and the hotel is fully operational.

We will have our welcome social and early check in on Sunday, September 29, 2024, beginning at 6:00 PM.

The CALEBI Board is working to put together an informative training program.  The final schedule will be released once we receive confirmation from the presenters. The current schedule includes:

• POST Update and input from the consultants
• Avoiding decertification due to bias
• Detecting lies and deception
• Social network investigations and recording your results
• The Best of the Worst (see below)

We are looking at a potential block called “The Best of the Worst.”  In this block, we will solicit input from members prior to the conference to describe one of their worst candidates and what steps were taken to develop disqualifying information.  The Board will select the top four “worst” candidate cases to be showcased at the conference and member will vote on which of the four cases are the “Best of the Worst”.  The winner will receive a prize.

Conference registration fees are $375 until August 15th, at which time the registration fees will be increased to $425.
